Baby's first Christmas is above all a family moment: your baby doesn't understand gifts yet, but parents, grandparents and friends all want to treat them. Here are 16 useful, gentle ideas suited to the first months, sorted by budget so you can choose with confidence.
How do you choose a gift for a baby?
- Favour the useful and the soft: a comforter, a bodysuit, something that will really get used every day.
- Choose toys suited to your baby's age, without small detachable parts, and check the recommended age on the product page.
- Consider personalisation: an embroidered or engraved name turns a simple object into a keepsake.
- For personalised items, allow time for production and order ahead.
