The choice is made mainly according to the baby's age and mobility. The baby bath towel, shaped as a hooded square, is ideal from birth up to 12-18 months. It wraps around baby immediately after the bath, dries them quickly and keeps them warm during the cuddle time on the changing table.
The baby dressing gown takes over when baby becomes mobile, generally from 12-18 months. With its sleeves and front opening, it allows baby to move around freely after the bath — towards the sofa for a cuddle, or towards the bedroom for pyjamas. The playful bathrobes with animal hoods (rabbit, bear, panda) add a fun dimension to the bath-time routine.

For bath towels with hoods, the sizes change according to age: 75×75 cm for newborns, 90×90 cm up to 12 months, and 100×100 cm up to 3 years. For dressing gowns, rely on the manufacturer's size chart — a gown that is too tight restricts movement, while one that is too big slips off the shoulders.
Tip: always go for a size up if you are unsure. Baby grows fast and a slightly large bathrobe remains usable for several months.
