• Limit the sessions at 10-20 minutes maximum, especially in the first few months — baby tires quickly when faced with stimulation
• Swap the positions on their back, on their front (tummy time), sitting with a cushion for the older ones
• Practise rotation removable toys to maintain interest
• Keep an eye on the baby during use — a gantry is never a substitute for supervision

Baby saturated? Try switching things up

If baby seems tired or unsettled by the baby gym, it is probably a sign of over-stimulation. Put it away for a few hours, or even a few days, and alternate with quieter play times (cloth book, simple wooden rattle, wooden mobile). The baby gym will regain all its appeal with this contrast.
